Printed Circuit Boards Manufactory KONO s.j. was established by M. Kotula and J. Nosek in 1988
in Gliwice,
Poland. The aim of the company is the manufacturing of printed circuit boards for
electronics.
Thanks to the vigorous progress on the market, the company became one of the most significant providers
of these components to the domestic market.
Production profile
Our company is specialized in manufacturing of high-quality double-sided PCBs with hole metallization,
covered with any kind of solder-resist masks. We produce also multilayer (up to 6-layers) and single-sided
PCBs accordingly to RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and UL (Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) standard.
In the report of the specialist magazine "Elektronika Profesjonalna" describing in detail all the polish
producers of PCBs, we were classified on the fourth place in regard to the quantity and quality of our products.
The report was elaborated on a basis of independent opinions of competitors and clients (i.e. companies from electronic branch).
Investments
Our company constantly extends its production capacities by investing in new machines and
technologies which not only improve the products quality but also increase a work comfort by
elimination of burdensome substances used in old methods and reduce emission of waste substances
to the environment.
2008 - Purchase of another high tech numerical SCHMOLL drill.
2007 - Movement KONO company to the new manufacture building at Sowinskiego in Gliwice,Poland.
That movement allowed thorough modernization of the engine park which improves the parameters
of our products Fully automated sewage treatment put us among few companies that fully implement
in environmental movement
2004 - Expansion of the manufacture and purchase of another tester from MANIA.
Purchase and start-up
of docking Switzerland line for putting anty-soldering mask
Obtainment of the UL (Underwriters
Laboratories Inc.) certificate Initiating technology accordingly to RoHS (non-lead)
2002 - Purchase of the high tech AOI, CAMTEC tester
2001 - Start-up of the PCB multilayer production and purchase of the high tech SCHMOLL drill
1998 - Start-up of the auto galvanic line and further modernization of department of wet processing
1996 - As a first company in Poland we initiated the process of direct metallization
1992 - Purchase of the first CNC drill
1991 - Initiating production of double-sided PCB
1988 - Establishing company with the production of non-complicated single-sided PCB
